We used to visit your country with a group of 8 to 10 friends every year ever since 3 years ago and last year we had a 3 days stop in Battambang. Instead of spending nights in hotels, we found this school of music, theatre and circus "The PHARE Ponleu Selpak". The staff there were so kind and arranged for us to stay 3 days with different families, parents of students in their house, sharing their way of life and their food. The money we pay was given totally to the concerning family. After 3 days, we have to leave, in order to reach Siem Reap by the river, early in the morning; all our friends felt the same, tears from parents and children, emotion from us; pity it was difficult to exchange more than minimum things due to our poor khmer language, but anyway we guess they did't need words to understand us.
We stayed with Savanh in his small bamboo house and I spend much time to play with their 5 years old son Van Haa. We play outside with bamboo toys and puzzles that I had in my bags. So next year in january we plan with another group to stop again in Battambang to visit them and spend few night again and to share a small space of their life. But please, keep in mind what they did in that establishment during the last ten years with around 1200 kids going to school free of charge for parents!!
Regarding the location, the school is at the north of the city of Battambang. All taxi drivers know it as "PHARE" as they say. They have manage during the last April the Asian International festival of school circus. The staff is managed by Nanny and Zinath and a french deputy, Sophie tel 012 890 360.
Thank you for your idea to share that emotions.

Albert's Feedback on e-Visa
No problem it's working well and fast; maybe 2 improvement could be done , if not already,
Regarding the inclosure of picture when uploading, it is not clear that we have not to wait to see the picture while uploading. When the file path of your file is mentionned, that works well.
At the Custom Office (PNH airport or Hat Lek) last year we felt that the Officers were not trained to control that document; They asked some time for 2 copies, some time they wanted to keep the second copy that we need to have to go out. So after some kindly discussion everything was running ok.
Except that 2 small point it is very easy to get this type of visa from home, in particular when we are far away from an Embassy!
